Prayer and the Nature of God Part II: What Good Can Prayer Do?
Greetings!
It was a sermon so nice, he’s doing it twice! This Sunday, July 27th, Rev. Bill will deliver:
☯️ “Prayer and the Nature of God Part II: What Good Can Prayer Do?" ☯️
Last week, Rev. Bill spoke eloquently about when we pray, why we pray, and how we pray. He shared an intriguing quote from Ernest Holmes:“Most men who believe in God believe in prayer. But our idea of prayer changes as our idea of God changes.” And here’s one directly from Rev. Bill:“We are guided, guarded and protected at all times.” Prayer is the line of communication we use to open us to receiving that guidance: “Thy Will Be Done.” Last week’s talk was rich and deep; it’s exciting Rev. Bill will explore it further!
If you didn’t hear last Sunday’s talk, do yourself a favor and mosey over to the PNTC website— it’s been uploaded to the “Meet Rev. Bill” page.
“Let it grow, let it grow. Let it blossom, let it flow.” Perfect song from Tom and our beloved PNTC Choir on a day we focus on our prayers and God! 🙏
