In All Things Give Thanks

Greetings! This Sunday, November 24th, is the Service before Thanksgiving. For many, Thanksgiving is their favorite holiday because it isn’t about presents, it isn’t about clothes— It’s a simple holiday, focusing on gatherings, family, food (of course), but most importantly, gratitude.

This Sunday, we are so happy to welcome back as guest speaker, Rev. Judy Osuna. Rev. Judy has a fresh and candid take on all things New Thought. Her conversational way of speaking is amusing, engaging and thought-provoking. She brings all of herself and the many ways she has served humanity to the pulpit. Her talk for us this week is:  🍁 “In All Things Give Thanks.” 🍁

Tom and our transplendent PNTC choir will scale the musical heights (and take us  along with them!) with a beautiful song of hope called “One Step at a Time.”

And finally, we said good-bye to someone very special to the CoT/PNTC family this week. Gary Mortimer, long-time Office Administrator, CoT & choir member, transitioned to pure Spirit on Tuesday 11/19th. We will keep you posted as to anyy remembrance ceremony or gathering in the future. We’ll see you later, friend!  🕊️

An Ethical Morality

Greetings! This Sunday, November 17th, we are excited to welcome back our good friend, deep thinker, and wonderful speaker, Dr. Jay Willick, The New Thought Guy. Dr. Jay’s talk this Sunday is: “An Ethical Morality.”

Hoo, boy. Is there a more timely topic? Probably not.

Always worth considering, Dr. Jay couldn’t be joining us at a better time, as ethics and morality (or more accurately, the lack thereof) is front and center in a particularly spectacular way right now. It is more important than ever to define our personal credo and let it ring out in crystal clear tones to combat the dissonance, and act to as a beacon to others who are also faithful to the light.  🎆

Where in the world would we be without Tom and our amazing PNTC choir? I hope we never have to find out! They don’t just sing, they minister to our souls in a way only beautiful music can. Every week, they comfort, uplift and inspire. This week, their featured song is, “Somewhere Out There.”

Please join us in Harmony Hall after Sunday Service for our usual delicious nibbles and to watch the video of our 100th Homecoming!   💯💯💯💯💯💯

How Do I Deal with the World Today?

Greetings! This Sunday, November 10th, we are fortunate to have Rev. Bill Carpenter in the pulpit to help us grapple with a very timely and pressing question:

“How Do I Deal with the World Today?”

To state the obvious, the world is a complex place. Change is constant and oftentimes not what we deem for the “better.” As spiritual and compassionate people, it’s hard to understand when people make choices that put themselves, others, and sometimes the entire planet at risk.

What is our responsibility?

How best to stay in the moment, instead of spinning out into the future?

Is pursuing joy a transformative act? Or is it “spiritual bypass”?

How do we deal with the world today? We’re ready to hear Rev. Bill speak on it.

We are always ready to hear Tom and our glorious PNTC choir sing words of prayer, love and wisdom. This Sunday, they will lead us in a meditative chant, reminding us that regardless of appearances, “There is Nothing But Peace.”   ☮️ ☮️ ☮️
