Happy Father’s Day! God the Father and I

Greetings! This Sunday, June 15th, is Father’s Day! We gather to celebrate and explore what it means to be a Father, and what it means to be “fathered.”                             Rev. Bill’s talk for us this Sunday is:

“Happy Father's Day! - God the Father and I”

Many in New Thought (you, too?) chafe at the thought of “Father God” or referring to God in a gender-specific way at all. But if God is all things, then God is as much Father as Mother. What are the fatherly characteristics of our loving Creator?                        Do you allow yourself to be fathered?

It is times such as these that we are living through that music becomes really, really important. It strengthened and comforted enslaved workers in the fields. It motivated and bonded everyday Americans during WWII. It galvanized and inspired young people during the Vietnam War. And with the help of Tom and our PNTC choir, it will uplift, soothe and remind you that: everything’s gonna be alright.

Prayers of support and protection for our members participating in the “NO KINGS” protests on Saturday. We are proud of you standing for Peace & Democracy!
